It's been great to take delivery of our new Ford Transit LWB freshly sign written by the team at Unique Signs in Norwich.
There are 2 main pruning seasons Autumn and Spring with the gardening year. Pruning promotes young growth for fresh stem colour or to increase flowering for the following seasons. Spring pruning, usually from January through to March broadly includes vibrant stem colour and plants that flower later in the year.
Examples for spring pruning Dog woods (Cornus), Forsythia, Ribes both after flowering, fruit trees being apples & pears and ornamental grasses. Autumn pruning prepares the plants for the upcoming winter period, this broadly includes roses, preventing wind rock, herbaceous plants, certain climbers, whilst plants can be pruned harder for shape or reduction as required.
