Terraced Pool Garden

Our clients had this amazing pool area constructed, leaving huge borders whilst also required a link to the remaining garden. After great conversations, it was decided that bold block planting of herbaceous, ornamental grasses and shrubs would create the formality required. To link the new terraced garden with the existing gardens, specialist trained Carpinus betulus standard d box trained trees would be the perfect link.

The trees were installed along the edge of the steps leading to the pool, whilst future trees were placed to create a continuous link throughout the now entire garden.

The main plantings were installed in batches of up to 50 plants, positioned based on there flowering height tolerance to sun or shade. Select areas were under planted with large single white allums, to continue the formal theme whilst given height and perspective to the design.
